Seth Ashley

Seth Ashley, PhD, is a professor in the Department of Communication at Boise State University. He is the author of News Literacy and Democracy, and his research on media literacy and media sociology has been published in a range of peer-reviewed journals. Ashley received his PhD and MA from the University of Missouri School of Journalism. He has worked as a writer and editor for newspapers and magazines and as a designer and technician for film, theater and music productions.
