Liz Redd
Elizabeth Redd is Director of American Indian Studies and Assistant Professor of Linguistic Anthropology at Idaho State University. A graduate of the University of Oklahoma, Dr. Redd has worked throughout her career at multiple institutions to support Indigenous Nation’s research and linguistic sovereignty and to improve the quality of education for and about Native Americans. At Idaho State University, Dr. Redd has served on the Tribal University Advisory Board, developed several trainings on Native-engaged research ethics, served on the Indigenous Peoples’ Day planning committees, and teaches courses on Native histories, lands, languages, and sovereignty.
