Aukera: A History of the Basques in Idaho

Marcus Lee Hansen wrote, “Grandchildren fight to remember what their parents wanted to forget.”  Aukera is the Basque word for choice and in this presentation, Dr. Bieter explores Basque migration to Idaho and the American West by looking at the choices made by each generation.
