Join the Conversation
The IHC is excited to launch our new program Human Ties: Conversations That Matter. This program brings opportunities for communities to come together and have respectful and civil conversations about challenging topics that are meaningful to Idahoans. The conversations will be centered around a humanities-based text and moderated by a trained facilitator.
Photographs, poems, and other short, accessible texts serve as the center of conversation on a chosen topic. Topics are broad themes designed to spark conversation and to get people talking.
Community Conversations are not lectures, panels, town halls, or presentations – these are actual conversations which require active participation from everyone. You don’t need any expertise to participate!
As we work to bring this program to your community, the IHC is currently seeking organizations and groups interested in hosting conversations.
