Curriculum Guides and Resources Available to Idaho Teachers
The IHC has materials available to Idaho teachers! Most are curriculum guides created by Idaho teachers during our teacher institutes and others are resources for your classrooms.
Please note: Publications are free to Idaho teachers; however, we ask teachers to cover the cost of postage and handling via Media Mail rate. Some publications are oversized and require special packaging. All items are available through the Idaho Humanities Council, except where noted. This project guide is a result of IHC's 2001 teacher institute Raices Culturales: Cultural Roots, A Model for Integrating Folklife in the Classroom, held at Albertson College. The teachers at the institute created this guide as a way to integrate history and traditions of different cultures in the classroom. Some of the projects include topics such as: Basque Music, Latin American Literature, and Working in the Payette, Idaho Area.
