The application for board membership is available in the IHC secure online application site. You will create an account and then click on apply and select the “Board Member Application Process” to access the application form. If you have applied to IHC for a grant, a Speakers Bureau program, or to attend a summer teacher institute, you may already have an account. Simply login (your email address is your login) to begin the application process.
To create an account:
1. If you have not created an account, click on the “Create New Account” button. You will be taken to an organization page. You may enter your organizational affiliation here or just enter your name and address information in the appropriate boxes on this page if you would rather not enter any organizational affiliation.
2. The next step is to enter your personal contact information. You may click the button to copy address information from the organization page if appropriate.
3. The last section asks for the executive of the organization. You may just answer yes to this question and enter any optional information you desire.
4. The final step is to create a secure password to the site. If you forget your password, you can click on the “Forgot Your Password?” link at any time.
Once you have completed the contact information, you will be directed to an application page listing all available applications with short descriptions of each. Click on the appropriate application (“Board Member Application Process”) and begin.
