CALL TO ACTION! Click HERE to urge Idaho's members of Congress to oppose the elimination of the National Endowment for the Humanities!

Welcome to the Idaho Humanities Council, celebrating its 43rd year in Idaho, connecting you to programs, grant opportunities, and resources that promote greater public awareness, appreciation and understanding of literature, history, philosophy, jurisprudence, and other humanities disciplines.

The IHC seeks to deepen understanding of human experience by connecting people with ideas, by encouraging civility and good citizenship, and by initiating community conversations about ideas that enlighten us about the past and light our way toward wisdom and a meaningful future.
